Smile!!!

Had a fun little outing with my sister Janaca.  We went to the old railroad station in Lehi to take some pictures of the kids...

(Dylan has lost both of his bottom front teeth!  You can kind of see the gaping hole, I hope his front teeth hold out until his bottom teeth are in!)

Fall Pictures

I love fall in Utah. Last Sunday we drove to Cascade Springs. The drive was beautiful! It was going to be the last warm weekend before it turned cold so everyone else’s idea was to drive up the canyon too! Very busy. So scary when driving on narrow canyon roads with hundreds of people. Wish I could just have the mountains all to myself! Here are some of the pictures I took:

It was so beautiful and I was trying to soak it all in. Real soon we’ll be having snow in the valley. The mountains already have snow half way down them. Fall ends too quickly!

SMILE!

I just had to share these pictures of Carleigh that were taken on her birthday. I thought they turned out so cute and the best part was she had so much fun doing them!

Cute Cousins!

Well, Sunday I decided to try and get a cute picture of all the little cousins we have running around the house now. My mom and dad have FIVE grand-kids now with one on the way! Here are the attempts....
Jordan - 2, Jackson -3 mo, Dylan - 4, Carleigh - 2, Taybree - 1

The "BOYS"
Dylan, Jackson & Jordan

The "GIRLS"
Taybree & Carleigh

All of these kids are so adorable and they each have their own cute little personalities. I think they will be great friends for life! I am so excited for my baby sister to have her first baby early next year!
I loved trying to get a cute picture of all of them. We tried bribing them with coins they could use to get a gumball out of the machine we had. Well, it worked until Dylan got mad that we got so excited that they all looked and smiled at the camera! Well, all I can say is that I tried. I thought a few turned out really cute, but I would love to try again.

She's Gone Country!

So my little “girly girl” Carleigh is able to be all girl and yet have a totally different side to her. She LOVES being outside and ADORES horses, cows, chickens, goats or pretty much any animal. She asks almost every day…"where’s the baby cow?” Grandpa has a cow in his pasture and she always wants to know where it is. I think she’s checking up on it to make sure the cow is ok. She’s not afraid to get her hands dirty either. She’ll help Grandma and Grandpa weed flower beds. Here are a few pictures I took Saturday by the ditch in Grandpa's backyard that I thought showed both sides of her.
(Yes, I'm obsessed with taking pictures of my kids!)

I had fun taking pictures of my kids today! Even though it's a bit stressful. I am always trying to get the "perfect" pose. With kids it's hard, but I thought these were some that turned out pretty cute.

Christmas Card Photos....Hummmm!

Excitement filled the air when I decided to get our family pictures taken for our Christmas cards this year. Well, the excitement quickly came to an end when I realized it wasn't going to be picture perfect like I had imagined. I have found that a photographer's job is very stressful...especially when there are two kids under the age of two to try and have them hold still, smile and look at the camera at the same time! I don't think I'll be attempting a family picture again anytime soon...I thought I'd share a few of the "disaster" photos...
